The "Gems in the Desert" Spiritual Adventure is set to begin on the 24th of October in New Delhi, North India and conclude on the 8th November 2011 in Jaipur. A free group transfer will be provided from Jaipur to New Delhi for you to catch your outbound flight. This spiritual adventure is 16 days in duration.

Our journey will take us to the following places: New Delhi, Amritsar, Chandelao, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Pushkar and Jaipur.

Important Note

Due to the fact that we will be attending one of India's largest festivals, Diwali, and also the famed Pushkar Camel Fair, it is best to reserve your place as early as possible. Accommodation has been sold out for more than a year in advance but we've managed to secure some rooms. These will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Enrollment Fees

The cost per person is USD3,950 based on double occupancy.

Fees cover, for the duration of the spiritual adventure:

• accommodations (based on double occupancy), hotels range from 5-star properties to a night in the desert (The night in the Thar desert is optional. For those that choose not to stay in the desert, accommodation will be provided in a hotel.)
• breakfast, lunch and dinner meals (all vegetarian) that are ordered by the trip coordinator
• Over 12-hours of classes conducted by Dandapani and study materials
• Entrance fees to all monuments during group excursions
• Cultural performances
• All coach, rail and camel transportation
• The following group flights:
  • Delhi to Amritsar
  • Amritsar to Delhi
• Group excursions and activites as listed below
• Akshardham and its cultural exhibitions
• Visit to the Golden Temple & the Festival of Lights
• India-Pakistan border crossing ceremony
• Jodhpur's Meherangarh fort
• Jaisalmer fort and havelis
• Optional camel ride and a night's stay in the Great Thar Desert
• Pushkar Camel Fair
• 2-days in a West Rajasthan village

Participants are responsible to provide their own round-trip air travel arrangements to New Delhi, India. Prices also do not include personal incidentals, beverages, laundry and optional private excursions.

Prices are based on cost and exchange rates at time of publication and are subject to change. Late fees may apply for any application received between 0 and 30-days to the date of the commencement of the program.

How to Enroll

In order to apply for the "Gems in the Desert" spiritual adventure you need to complete an application form which can be acquired by e-mailing info@vedicodyssey.com.

Enrollment occurs upon approval of your application by Vedic Odyssey. Vedic Odyssey reserves the right to qualify which applicants may or may not participate. Enrollment is based on a first-come, first-served basis.
