During our upcoming spiritual adventure to the Himalayas in Oct we will spend 2-nights at Chitwan National Park in Nepal. 50-days to go before we begin our Himalayan journey. There are spots available and we’d love to have you join us. For more information about the journey please visit our website on The Himalayas spiritual adventure. You may also email info@vedicodyssey.com for more details.

On day 7 we leave our lake side town of Pokhara and head south to one of Asia’s premier wildlife viewing parks, Chitwan. Our cottages are deep within the park itself, a rare and but much welcomed opportunity to be so close to the animals. We’ll spend 2-nights here with much time to go jungle trekking either on foot or on an elephant’s back. The chances are high to spot one-horned rhinos, deer, monkeys and around 450 species of birds. And for those fortunate ones perhaps even leopards, sloth bears, wild elephants and if you are really lucky, the royal Bengal tiger.

Strolling Melbourne’s alleyways I came across this beautiful graffiti artwork of Ganesha. Sitting at the entrance, as He typically does, he guides all safely through this alley.

Nothing like a hot cup of coffee on a cold day in Melbourne city, Australia, to warm you up. A stroll in and around Degraves St in downtown Melbourne revealed a slew of quaint cafes with some of the best coffees I’d ever had. The dessert options were more than tempting and a great opportunity to practice restraint. Well, there is only so many chocolates one can consume. If you are ever in Melbourne I highly recommend you spend some time in this area. Here are some photos from that stroll through that lovely cafe scene.

Victoria, Australia: The drive from Melbourne to the 12 Apostles takes about 4 hours along the scenic Great Ocean Road. Keep your eye out for Koalas as you wind your way through Eucalyptus forests, amazing swells all along the coast and finally the spectacular 12 Apostles.
